WELCOME!
The Camilla Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Asheville, NC. Our organization is a tribute to our founder's mother, Edith Camilla Pritchett, encompassing her passion to give back at both a global and local level. Edith was a dedicated nursing professor at AB Technical Community College and someone who was deeply passionate about child welfare. Our global mission is to empower and grow the stability of orphanages around the world. We currently provide funding to two orphanages, one in Uganda and one in Puerto Rico. Our local mission is to build a fund that will eventually provide grants and scholarships to individuals wishing to attend nursing school at AB Tech.
Honoring Edith Camilla Pritchett
The Camilla Foundation is a tribute to Edith Camilla Pritchett, who was a giving mother, nurse, professor, youth advocate and church leader. Edward Pritchett, pictured here with his mom, has always been inspired by her life and purpose. Through this inspiration has come our foundation's local and global missions: to build a fund that will eventually provide grants and scholarships to individuals wishing to attend nursing school in western North Carolina, and grow the stability of two orphanages we fund in Uganda and Puerto Rico. As a family and a community, we accomplish more together than we do alone.
